We’ve learned through a newsletter of a returning vendor that the LIC Flea & Food will indeed be back! Opening Weekend is Saturday April 11 and 12, and it will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the end of October. The Queens Courier quotes Josh Schneps, the LIC Flea & Food president, as “thrilled to be kicking off the third season of LIC Flea & Food.”
The Flea will be located again at the lot at the corner of Fifth Street and 46th Avenue. A lot of changes have come to this little section of LIC, and the new developments—especially over by Anable Basin—are nice, so if you stop by, be sure to head over there and check out the improvements.
The Courier also mentioned some new vendors this year, including Lumpia Merienda, Chuta Madre, and CakeBox NYC on the food side. Other new vendors are Anna Harper Jewelry and Queens³. We are looking forward to seeing one of our favorite vendors, Tea & Milk, too!
And the Flea is still accepting vendor applications, which can be made here.
We are hopeful that the Astoria Flea will be back, too, and will bring you news of its status when we get it.
