Big news today—Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg is coming to Queens! They’re going to open up in 7,500-square-feet at 43-29 Cresent Street. Gothamist reminds us that this is next door to M. Wells Steakhouse.

I believe this was at or near the location for the big live music and film series that happened last year, in a space dubbed The Lot.

Since it’s Queens, expect global food selections, including “Filipino cuisine from Woodside’s Papa’s Kitchen, Thai noodles from Elmhurst’s Plant Love House, Asian-inspired cupcakes from Silk Cakes, Mexican seafood cocktails from La Esquina del Camaron, and Smorg veterans Outer Borough.” And the Sainted Arepa Lady’s amazing food.

They’re opening on Saturday, July 11 and every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Looks like you can make it a twofer on Saturdays, since the LIC Flea is not too far away.
